Driver’s View:

The NC-1 motor from the 1990s Ninco range remains the high water mark for slot car driving pleasure. It is mild without being weak and demands to be driven, making any car in which the NC-1 is mounted a real pleasure to thump around in a series of manageable drifts. In the GTR class, the McLaren F1 is head and shoulders clear of  the other two possible cars, making this effectively a single car category. No matter: these are habitually some of the closest races at Farnham.
