Class 34: Formula 1 1970-1985


Ready-to-race 1/32 slot cars representing Formula 1 cars that raced in the ‘3-litre era’ of 1970-85. The brakes on the track are switched on for this class and the power is cut to make the motors manageable.


No modifications permitted from OEM specification except free choice of guide provided that no chassis modifications are required for fitment. FF slimline motors only. Traction magnet must be removed and weight may be positioned in the chassis if it is not visible from outside the car. Car may be repainted. Tyre choice free.

Note: Policar F1 models are not permitted, being of incompatible specification.

Driver’s View:

The power of the track gets turned down for this class in order to make the cars drivable with their little FF motors, which are not noted for their subtle power delivery. This makes the cars rather fun, drifting through the bends like their full-size counterparts. They are very light and usually very fragile.
