Welcome from the members of the Farnham Scalextric Club, based in the heart of the picturesque market town that nestles in the rolling Surrey Hills: quintessentially English, just an hour from the capital.

We host race meetings every Wednesday evening, a themed ‘special night’ once in each three-month season, race against other local clubs in annual Inter-club Challenge events and host public events including Slot Rally GB.

Slot racing is an exciting, accessible and enjoyable way to get out of the house, get away from work and get together with people. You don’t need any kit of your own to take part on our regular race nights, although once you’ve started you might well find the hobby quite addictive.

Read on to find out what we do and how – and then why not come and join in the fun for yourself?

Jeremy would be hopeless at Scalextric because he’s so impractical and useless. Hammond would be quite good, but he’s into Lego.

I could only dream of driving a series of corners such as scaling the mountain up to turn one in Austin before falling through the ‘Senna S’ of Brazil and towards Silverstone’s fearsome Copse corner. Now amazingly, we’ve built a model and so I will revert to my childhood for many laps.
